Just 50 meters from Watamu’s turquoise beach, Pole Pole Beach House offers a peaceful stay with a Swahili touch. Our six spacious double suites—Simba, Kiboko, Twiga, Chui, Duma, and Kifaru—blend comfort with local charm. Come relax, explore, and enjoy Watamu the “polepole” way—slowly, beautifully, and with ease.

Whether you're watching the waves from the terraces or enjoying the gentle stillness of our garden-view rooms, every space is designed for peace, comfort, and connection with nature.
A Taste of Swahili Life
At Pole Pole Beach House, we offer more than just a place to sleep. Our chef prepares authentic African dishes, seafood, pizza, pasta and hand-made "gnocchi"—with all meals available on request. For those curious about coastal cuisine, we also host private cooking classes to help you bring Swahili flavours back home. This is our offer at Watamu!
